Komori | Small terrarium pot
Original Design
Komori – meaning "小森" (small forest) in Japanese – perfectly embodies the miniature woodland ecosystem this planter creates on your wall. The name carries deeper significance: it also means babysitter or "the one who looks after the little ones," reflecting how this planter nurtures and protects delicate terrarium plants. Additionally, komori can be written as "木守" (ko-mori), meaning "the person who tends to trees," capturing the careful stewardship these specialized plants require. Like a devoted guardian watching over a young forest, the Komori planter provides the sheltered environment where your most delicate plants can thrive.
The Komori planter pairs our innovative LIITOS wall-mounting system with a compact, enclosed glass design, creating the perfect habitat for terrarium plants, such as Marcgravia, on terrarium clay or moss-mounted miniature orchids. This versatile planter features two interchangeable mounting options: one specifically designed for terrarium clay installations and another for hanging or moss-mounted arrangements, providing complete flexibility in how you display your plants. The sealed glass environment maintains the high humidity levels these specialized plants demand while showcasing their intricate beauty. While expertly crafted for terrarium specimens, the Komori excels at cultivating any plant species requiring elevated moisture levels. The LIITOS system ensures secure, adjustable mounting, while the enclosed design creates a self-sustaining ecosystem that minimizes maintenance and transforms your wall into a living showcase of nature's most delicate treasures.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
This product is made primarily from PLA, a biodegradable and eco-friendly material that aligns with our commitment to sustainable making. However, PLA is not UV-resistant or thermally stable, which means extended exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures can cause the material to warp, soften, or lose its shape. UV light also gradually breaks down PLA and makes it more brittle over time, reducing its overall durability.
To keep your product in its best condition, avoid placing it in windowsills, hot cars, near heaters, or any environment with prolonged heat or sunlight. Clean gently with a soft cloth and mild soap if needed, and store in a cool, dry place when not in use. With proper care, your PLA item will maintain its appearance and function for years.
