Welcome to Rickymakes | A one-of-a-kind maker brand born from a love of innovating, plants, and bringing playful, functional art into everyday spaces.

How It Started

Rickymakes began the way most great things do: a dream and a lot of my free time. What started as a passion project quickly grew into something bigger: a full creative studio crafting products that blend technology with artisan sensibility. Every planter, home goods, and terrarium that leaves our workshop is designed, manufactured, and finished by hand.

Local Manufacturing

We design all our products in-house (unless they're explicitly labeled licensed), from the first sketch to the final product. Having our own manufacturing capability lets us push the boundaries of what's possible; intricate shapes, flexible forms, and custom details that traditional manufacturing simply can't achieve. All of my products (including licensed products) are manufactured locally in Washington state. 

We're not just selling products! We're sharing the craft.

What We Make

  • Planters: Thoughtfully designed homes for your plants, including our beloved Marui dome pots (named after the Japanese word 丸い, meaning "round").
  • Plants: A collection of orchids, terrarium plants, and self-watering plants.
  • Wiggets: Flexible, wiggly decor that brings a little joy to any terrarium, plants, shelf, desk, or windowsill.
  • Pokéballs: For the fans and the fun-seekers. (Just an excuse for myself to have a lot of them :P)
  • Plant Supplies: Everything your green friends need to thrive.

Where to Find Us

We're not just online; you can find Rickymakes in person at local markets, fairs, and expos (See Events). Stop by, see the products up close, and chat with us about what we're creating next. We love meeting the people who bring our creations home, or letting us know what you would like.
